1. General Refund Policy

Refund eligibility and processing times vary depending on the event and circumstances. This policy outlines the general terms, but specific events may have their own refund policies as set by the event organizer.

2. Event Cancellations

If an event is cancelled by the organizer:

  • You will receive a full refund of the ticket price
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days to your original payment method
  • You will be notified via email and WhatsApp about the cancellation
  • Any booking fees or service charges may be non-refundable (as specified at time of purchase)

3. Event Postponements

If an event is postponed:

  • Your tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date
  • If you cannot attend the new date, you may be eligible for a refund (subject to event organizer's policy)
  • Refund requests for postponed events must be submitted within 7 days of the postponement announcement
  • Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days after approval

4. Customer-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellation requests made by customers are subject to the event organizer's refund policy. Common scenarios:

4.1 Full Refund Window

Many events offer full refunds if cancelled:

  • More than 48 hours before the event start time
  • Within 24 hours of purchase (for events more than 7 days away)

4.2 Partial Refund Window

Some events may offer partial refunds:

  • Between 24-48 hours before the event (typically 50% refund)
  • Subject to event organizer's specific terms

4.3 No Refund Window

Generally, no refunds are available:

  • Less than 24 hours before the event
  • After the event has started
  • For "No Refund" events (clearly marked at purchase)

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Log into your account and go to "My Tickets"
  2. Select the booking you want to cancel
  3. Click "Request Refund" (if available for that event)
  4. Or contact our support team at support@boringshows.com with your booking reference number

6. Refund Processing

Once your refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days (may vary by payment method)
  • You'll receive email confirmation when the refund is processed
  • If you don't see the refund after 14 business days, contact your bank or payment provider

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following are typically non-refundable:

  • Booking fees or service charges (unless event is cancelled by organizer)
  • Processing fees
  • Donations or contributions to events
  • Merchandise or add-ons purchased separately

8. Special Circumstances

8.1 Medical Emergencies

Refunds for medical emergencies may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact support with documentation.

8.2 Weather or Natural Disasters

If an event is cancelled due to weather or natural disasters, full refunds will be provided as per our cancellation policy.

8.3 Duplicate Bookings

If you accidentally make duplicate bookings, contact us immediately. We may be able to cancel and refund duplicate orders.

9. Disputes and Appeals

If you believe your refund request was incorrectly denied:

  • Contact our support team with your booking reference and explanation
  • We will review your case within 5 business days
  • Our decision will be based on the event's refund policy and these terms
