Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

These Terms govern your use of the Boring Shows website, mobile application, event-ticketing features, Boring Dramas streaming features, and related services (the "Platform"). By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Accounts

• Provide accurate information and keep your contact details current.
• Keep sign-in codes, credentials, and devices secure, and notify us promptly of unauthorized use.
• Do not sell, share, or transfer an account in a way that bypasses our controls.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless caused by our failure to secure the Platform.

3. Event Tickets and Payments

• Bookings are subject to availability and the event details shown at checkout.
• The checkout screen shows the ticket subtotal, applicable taxes, convenience fees, and final amount before payment.
• Event payments are processed by an external payment processor using the payment method you select.
• Review the event, ticket quantity, attendee details, price, date, venue, and organizer terms before confirming.
• A ticket may be refused or cancelled if it was obtained fraudulently, duplicated, refunded, transferred contrary to applicable terms, or already used.

4. Event Cancellations and Refunds

Customer refund eligibility is determined by the rules shown in our Refund Policy and any clearly disclosed event-specific terms. The Platform currently closes ordinary customer refund requests 48 hours before the scheduled event start and refunds only the eligible paid ticket subtotal; convenience fees and tax on those fees are not refunded for a customer-initiated cancellation.

5. Boring Dramas and Digital Content

Drama access is a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to stream available content through the official Boring Shows app. It is a license to view content, not a sale or transfer of ownership.

• Streaming requires a supported device, internet connection, signed-in account, and any access entitlement required for that episode.
• An episode described as free may still require sign-in and may be subject to rollout, location, rights, or availability controls.
• The current app provides streaming and viewing-progress sync; it does not provide an offline-download feature.
• Do not copy, record, rebroadcast, publicly perform, resell, redistribute, scrape, or create unauthorized derivatives of Drama content.
• Do not bypass screen protections, access checks, geographic or account controls, or share playback access or credentials.
• Content, episodes, artwork, languages, and availability may change because of publication status, maintenance, safety, or content-rights restrictions.

6. Digital Purchases

The current Boring Dramas experience does not provide a customer checkout for Drama access. A locked or access-controlled label is not itself an offer to sell. If paid digital content is introduced, the Platform will show the price, currency, access period, billing method, renewal terms (if any), restoration method, and applicable refund terms before purchase. Purchases billed through an app-store provider will also be subject to that provider's billing and refund rules.

7. User Content and Conduct

You must not:

• Use the Platform unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm, threaten, impersonate, or harass another person.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or content containing malware or unlawful material.
• Interfere with the Platform, probe for vulnerabilities, overload services, or access data without authorization.
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or interact with the Platform without written permission.
• Resell tickets or digital access in violation of applicable event, store, or Platform terms.

You retain rights in content you submit. You permit us to host, process, display, and transmit it only as needed to operate the feature you selected, enforce these Terms, and comply with law.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform software, branding, design, and content are owned by Boring Shows or the relevant licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited rights expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

9. Account Suspension and Deletion

We may restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized content access, security incidents, or violations of these Terms. If you permanently delete your account, account-based access and saved progress may become unavailable. Records that must be retained for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes may remain restricted to those purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability and Responsibility

We work to keep the Platform available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Boring Shows is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms when the Platform or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised Terms here with a new effective date and may provide additional notice for material changes.
